  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 cups peeled and diced apples
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare a 9×13-inch baking dish by greasing it or lining it with parchment paper.
  3. Mix the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon in a large bowl.
  4. Combine the melted butter, milk, eggs, and vanilla in a separate bowl.
  5. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and gently fold until combined.
  6. Add the diced apple chunks and mix gently.
  7. Spread the batter into the prepared baking dish.
  8. Bake for 35 to 40 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  9. Cool for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack. Dust with powdered sugar.
