  • 1 sheet frozen puff pastry, thawed
  • 1/2 cup mixed berry preserves
  • 1 egg, beaten (for wash)
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  2. Roll It Out: Using a rolling pin, gently roll the dough to smooth out the creases.
  3. Slice the Dough: Cut the pastry into 1-inch strips.
  4. Add the Filling: Taking a tablespoon of mixed berry preserves, add a dollop to the center of the strip.
  5. Twist It Up: Fold the pastry over the filling, sealing the edges by pressing down gently.
  6. Brush the beaten egg over each twist.
  7. Sprinkle Sugar: Liberally sprinkle the granulated sugar over the top.
  8. Into the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and bake for about 15-20 minutes.
  9. Cool on a Rack: Allow the twists to cool on a wire rack.
