Crock Pot Angel Chicken

A delightful and easy-to-make Crock Pot dish featuring chicken simmered in a creamy sauce perfect for any busy evening.

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup (10.5 oz)
  • 1 packet Italian dressing mix (about 1 oz)
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 8 oz angel hair pasta
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the chicken by placing it at the bottom of the Crock Pot.
  2. Add the soup and seasonings by dolloping the cream of chicken soup over the chicken and sprinkling the Italian dressing mix.
  3. Cube the cream cheese and scatter it over the top.
  4. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
  6. Cook the angel hair pasta according to package instructions about 30 minutes before serving.
  7. Combine the shredded chicken with the sauce and serve over the pasta.

Notes

For a lighter version, use low-fat cream cheese or Greek yogurt. This dish pairs beautifully with a salad or garlic bread.
