Easy Creamy Lemon Garlic Pasta

This creamy lemon garlic pasta dish offers an explosion of flavor with simple ingredients, perfect for weeknight dinners or special occasions.

  • 3 tbsp Unsalted Butter
  • 3 Garlic Cloves, minced
  • 1 Lemon, juiced
  • 500 ml Heavy Cream
  • 3 tbsp Fresh Parsley, chopped
  • 3/4 cup Grated Parmesan Cheese
  • 300 g Spaghetti
  • Salt & Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Boil the spaghetti by bringing a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add 300 g of spaghetti and cook until al dente. Reserve half a cup of pasta water before draining.
  2. Sauté the garlic in a large skillet over medium heat. Melt 3 tbsp of unsalted butter, then add 3 minced garlic cloves and sauté for 1-2 minutes.
  3. Make it creamy by slowly pouring in 500 ml of heavy cream. Stir and simmer on low heat for about 5 minutes.
  4. Add the lemon juice and 3/4 cup of grated Parmesan cheese, stirring until the cheese melts and everything is combined.
  5. Combine the drained spaghetti with the sauce, tossing to coat well. Add reserved pasta water if needed.
  6. Finishing touches include stirring in 3 tbsp of chopped fresh parsley and adjusting seasoning to taste.

Notes

This dish pairs wonderfully with a crisp green salad or garlic bread. You can also add sautéed vegetables or protein for variation.
