Heavenly Pineapple Fritters That Bring Tropical Joy

Delicious pineapple fritters that are crispy on the outside and warm and juicy on the inside, perfect for any occasion.

  • 1 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup Granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Ground cinnamon
  • 1 large Egg
  • 1/2 cup Milk
  • 1 whole Fresh pineapple, sliced
  • 2 cups Vegetable oil
  • 1 tablespoon Additional cinnamon and sugar

Instructions

  1. Prepare the pineapple by slicing into rings about half an inch thick.
  2. Make the batter by mixing the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, egg, and milk until smooth.
  3. Heat the vegetable oil in a deep skillet over medium heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).
  4. Dip each pineapple ring into the batter, ensuring it is well coated.
  5. Fry the fritters for about 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  6. Drain the fritters on paper towels and toss them in cinnamon and sugar while hot.
  7. Repeat until all the pineapple rings are fried.
  8. Serve warm, optionally dusted with powdered sugar.

Notes

Best enjoyed fresh. You can prep the batter and sliced pineapple ahead of time if needed.
