Homemade Peach Lemonade

A refreshing twist on classic lemonade combining juicy peaches and tart lemons, perfect for summer days.

Ingredients

  • 4 ripe peaches
  • 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 4 cups water
  • Ice cubes
  • Mint leaves (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the peaches by pitting and slicing them. Set aside a few slices for garnish.
  2. Blend the sliced peaches with 1 cup of water until smooth.
  3. Strain the peach purée into a pitcher to separate the juice from solids.
  4. Add the freshly squeezed lemon juice to the peach juice and stir.
  5. Combine 1 cup of sugar and 1 cup of water in a pot to create simple syrup, heating until dissolved.
  6. Pour the simple syrup into the pitcher and stir well, adding the remaining 3 cups of cold water.
  7. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.
  8. Serve over ice and garnish with mint leaves or peach slices.

Notes

You can substitute peaches with nectarines or plums. Adjust sweetness to your preference.
