Mango Strawberry Sorbet

A refreshing and vibrant sorbet made with ripe mangoes and juicy strawberries, perfect for summer.

Ingredients

  • 2 ripe mangoes, peeled and diced (about 2 cups)
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 1 cup sugar (adjust based on sweetness preference)
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice (optional, for added brightness)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the produce by peeling and dicing the mangoes and hulling and slicing the strawberries.
  2. Blend the diced mangoes and sliced strawberries into a blender or food processor with water and sugar until smooth.
  3. Add lime juice (if using) and blend again to incorporate.
  4. Chill the mixture in a sealable container for about 30 minutes in the freezer.
  5. Churn the sorbet by scraping the mixture every 30 minutes for about 1-2 hours to keep it smooth.
  6. Serve the sorbet when it reaches the desired consistency, optionally garnishing with fresh mint.

Notes

For a tropical twist, add coconut milk. Other fruits can be swapped as desired, and feel free to add spices for different flavor explorations.
