One-Pan Chicken with Buttered Noodles

A cozy comfort meal featuring tender chicken breasts and buttery egg noodles infused with garlic.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (1.5 lbs)
  • 8 oz egg noodles
  • 4 tbsp real butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups low-sodium chicken broth
  • ¼ cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Prepare your ingredients by washing and chopping parsley, and mincing garlic.
  2. Sear the chicken in a large skillet with 2 tablespoons of butter for 5-7 minutes on each side until cooked through.
  3. Add minced garlic to the pan and sauté for 30 seconds.
  4. Pour in chicken broth, scraping up any browned bits, and let it simmer.
  5. Add egg noodles directly into the broth and cook according to package instructions, about 5-7 minutes.
  6. Bring back the chicken to the pan and season with salt and pepper.
  7. Finish with the remaining butter and fresh parsley, mixing gently.
  8. Serve the dish and garnish with extra parsley if desired.

Notes

For a zesty version, squeeze some lemon juice into the broth. Add sautéed mushrooms for a heartier flavor.
