One Pot Creamy Garlic Pasta

A rich and flavorful One Pot Creamy Garlic Pasta that’s simple to make, perfect for busy weeknights, and a comforting meal everyone will love.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 ounces pasta (any kind you love)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Sauté the garlic: In a large pot or skillet over medium heat, combine the olive oil and minced garlic. Allow the garlic to sauté for 1-2 minutes until it becomes fragrant.
  2. Add the pasta: Next, add your pasta to the pot along with 4 cups of water (or enough to cover the pasta). Bring it to a gentle boil.
  3. Make it creamy: Once the pasta is al dente, lower the heat and pour in the milk. Stir well to combine everything and allow it to cook for another 5-7 minutes, or until the sauce thickens slightly.
  4. Cheese please: Gradually add Parmesan cheese while stirring, allowing it to melt into the sauce, creating a velvety texture.
  5. Season and garnish: Once the cheese has melted, taste and season with salt and pepper to your liking.
  6. Serve hot: Remove the pot from the heat, and serve immediately.

Notes

Add a squeeze of lemon juice for a brighter flavor and serve with a crisp salad and warm bread for a complete meal.
