Deliciously Unique Apple Salad

A refreshing apple salad bursting with sweet, tart flavors and a comforting crunch, perfect for any occasion.

  • 4 large Honeycrisp apples, cubed
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • ⅓ cup mayonnaise
  • 1 ½ tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 ribs celery, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup seedless red grapes, halved
  • ½ cup chopped pecans
  • ½ cup dried cranberries

Instructions

  1. Prepare your apples: Start by washing the Honeycrisp apples under cold water. Chop them into bite-sized cubes and toss in a bowl with lemon juice.
  2. Mix the base: In a separate mixing bowl, combine mayonnaise and brown sugar. Whisk until well blended and creamy.
  3. Combine it all: Add the sliced celery, halved grapes, chopped pecans, and dried cranberries to the apples. Pour the mayonnaise mixture over and gently fold everything together.
  4. Taste and adjust: Taste the salad and adjust sweetness with extra brown sugar if desired.
  5. Chill it out: Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.

Notes

You can make this salad ahead of time. Add nuts just before serving for extra crunch.
