Pumpkin Pear Ginger Dump Cake

A cozy and comforting pumpkin pear ginger dump cake that’s perfect for autumn gatherings. Easy to make and full of warm spices!

  • 1 can (15 oz) pumpkin puree
  • 2 cups diced pears (fresh or canned)
  • 1 box (15.25 oz) spice cake mix
  • 2 teaspoons ground ginger
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts (optional)
  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare a 9×13 inch baking dish by greasing it with a little butter or cooking spray.
  3. Combine the pumpkin puree and diced pears in a large mixing bowl.
  4. Sprinkle the spice cake mix over the pumpkin and pear mixture.
  5. Sprinkle the ground ginger evenly over the cake mix.
  6. Top with chopped walnuts, if using.
  7. Drizzle the melted butter over the entire top of the cake mix.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes.
  9. Let the cake cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

This cake is best enjoyed warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a dollop of whipped cream.
