Strawberry Cheesecake Dump Cake

A delightful dessert combining creamy cheesecake and fresh strawberries under a buttery cake layer.

  • 2 cups fresh strawberries (sliced)
  • 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese (softened)
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • Powdered sugar (for dusting, optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare a 9×13 inch baking dish and lightly grease it with cooking spray or butter.
  3. Mix the softened cream cheese, granulated sugar, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt until smooth.
  4. Layer the sliced strawberries evenly on the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
  5. Pour the cream cheese mixture over the strawberries.
  6. Add the dry yellow cake mix evenly over the cream cheese layer.
  7. Drizzle the melted butter over the cake mix.
  8. Bake for about 50-60 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
  9. Cool for 15-20 minutes and sprinkle with powdered sugar before serving.
