Deviled Strawberries

A fun, fruity twist on classic cheesecake, these Deviled Strawberries are hollowed strawberries filled with a creamy cheesecake mixture and topped with crunchy graham cracker crumbs.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1824 large strawberries
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1 (8 ounce) package of cream cheese (softened)
  • 1/3 cup sour cream
  • 2/3 cup white granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice (optional)
  • 1/2 cup graham cracker crumbs

Instructions

  1. Rinse your strawberries gently under cold water. Pat them dry with a paper towel. Carefully slice off the tops and use a small pairing knife or melon baller to scoop out the insides.
  2. In a mixing bowl, beat together the softened cream cheese and sugar using an electric mixer until creamy and smooth. Next, add in the sour cream, vanilla extract, and optional lemon juice. Beat until everything is well combined.
  3. Using a piping bag or a small spoon, fill each hollowed strawberry with the cheesecake filling.
  4. After filling the strawberries, sprinkle the tops with graham cracker crumbs.
  5. Place the filled strawberries on a serving platter and chill them in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.

Notes

Garnish with fresh mint leaves for added color and aroma. For a lighter filling, consider using whipped topping instead of heavy cream.
