Creamy Coconut Key Lime Pie Smoothie

A refreshing smoothie combining zesty lime and creamy coconut milk, perfect for a summer treat.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup coconut milk
  • 1 ripe banana
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1/4 cup lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup
  • 1/2 avocado
  • 1/2 cup spinach or kale (optional)
  • Ice cubes (optional)
  • Lime zest for garnish

Instructions

  1. Start by gathering and measuring all your ingredients.
  2. Pour the coconut milk and Greek yogurt into the blender first.
  3. Peel the ripe banana and scoop out the half avocado. Toss them in, and blend on high until velvety smooth.
  4. Squeeze that lime juice into the mix, and add the honey or maple syrup. Blend again.
  5. If you’re adding spinach or kale, toss those in now and blend again.
  6. Add ice cubes and blend until the texture is frosty, if desired.
  7. Pour your smoothie into a glass, and sprinkle lime zest on top.

Feel free to experiment with different ingredients for variations, such as adding berries or nut butter.
