Creamy Garlic Butter Steak Bites with Spicy Cajun Alfredo Twisted Pasta

An indulgent dish featuring tender steak bites in a rich creamy Alfredo sauce with a hint of Cajun spice, served over twisted pasta.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1.5 pounds of sirloin steak
  • 12 oz twisted pasta (rotini or fusilli)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Olive oil for cooking

Instructions

  1. Cook the Pasta: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the twisted pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Reserve a cup of pasta water before draining.
  2. Sear the Steak Bites: In a hot skillet, add olive oil. Season steak cubes with salt and pepper, add to the skillet, and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until browned. Remove and set aside.
  3. Create the Garlic Butter Sauce: In the same skillet, reduce heat and add butter. Once melted, add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds.
  4. Add the Cream and Seasoning: Pour in heavy cream, simmer to thicken, then stir in Cajun seasoning and Parmesan cheese until melted. Adjust consistency with reserved pasta water if needed.
  5. Combine Pasta and Steak: Toss drained pasta and seared steak in the sauce until well-coated. Allow to meld in the skillet for a minute.
  6. Serve It Up: Plate the pasta and steak, topping with extra Parmesan and Cajun seasoning for garnish.
