Air Fryer Apple Fries

A delightful twist on traditional apple desserts, these Air Fryer Apple Fries are crispy, sweet, and perfect for dipping!

Ingredients

  • 2 large apples (Honeycrisp or Granny Smith)
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • Nonstick cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Prepare your apples by washing, drying, coring, and slicing them into thin strips.
  2. Make the batter by combining the flour, egg, and milk in a bowl, whisking until smooth.
  3. Prepare the coating by mixing panko breadcrumbs, sugar, and cinnamon in another bowl.
  4. Coat each apple slice first in the batter, then roll it in the panko mixture.
  5. Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  6. Air fry the apple fries in a single layer for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  7. Cool the fries for a couple of minutes, then serve hot with dipping sauces.

Notes

Serve with caramel sauce or honey for dipping. Optionally, sprinkle powdered sugar on top for added sweetness.
