A comforting twist on a classic dish, these Hasselback Potatoes are crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, perfect for any family gathering.

  • 4 Russet Potatoes (or Yukon Gold)
  • 1/4 cup Melted Butter (or olive oil for healthier option)
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Prepare the potatoes by scrubbing them clean and patting them dry.
  3. Slice the potatoes thinly along the length, stopping 1/4 inch from the bottom.
  4. Brush each potato with melted butter using a pastry brush.
  5. Season the potatoes with salt and pepper, ensuring to get some into the crevices.
  6. Bake the potatoes on a lined baking sheet for 45-55 minutes until fork-tender and crispy.
  7. Garnish with fresh herbs before serving.

Notes

For a twist, try adding cheese in the last few minutes of baking or using garlic herb butter for additional flavor.
