Pumpkin Chocolate Cherry Dump Cake

A deliciously easy dessert combining the flavors of pumpkin, chocolate, and cherry in a warm, comforting dump cake.

  • 1 can pumpkin puree
  • 1 can cherry pie filling
  • 1 box devil’s food cake mix
  • 1 cup dark chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare a 9×13-inch baking dish by greasing it with cooking spray or butter.
  3. Layer the pumpkin puree across the bottom of the baking dish.
  4. Dollop the cherry pie filling on top of the pumpkin and spread it out gently.
  5. Sprinkle the dark chocolate chips evenly over the cherry filling.
  6. Pour the dry devil’s food cake mix over the layers evenly.
  7. Drizzle the melted butter all over the top of the cake mix.
  8. Bake for 40-45 minutes until golden brown and a toothpick comes out mostly clean.
  9. Cool for about 15-20 minutes before serving.
  10. Serve warm with whipped cream or ice cream.

Notes

Add chopped nuts or orange zest for variations.
