Ingredients

Scale
  • 20 Oreos
  • ¼ cup (57g) unsalted butter (melted)
  • 32 ounces (900g) full-fat block cream cheese (softened to room temperature)
  • 1 cup (200g) granulated sugar
  • ¼ cup (60mL) heavy whipping cream (at room temperature)
  • 5 ounces (153g) Greek yogurt or sour cream (at room temperature)
  • 1 Tablespoon vanilla extract
  • Orange food coloring
  • 4 large eggs (at room temperature)
  • 2 large egg yolks (at room temperature)

  • 1 cup homemade whipped cream
  • Candy eyes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C).
  2. Prepare the crust by crushing the 20 Oreos into fine crumbs and mixing with melted butter. Press tightly into a 9-inch springform pan.
  3. Blend the softened cream cheese with an electric mixer until smooth, then add sugar and mix until combined.
  4. Add the heavy cream and Greek yogurt, then mix until well blended.
  5. Incorporate the eggs one at a time, then stir in the orange food coloring.
  6. Fold in the chopped Oreos gently with a spatula.
  7. Pour the cheesecake batter over the chilled crust, smoothing the top.
  8. Bake for 50-60 minutes until edges are set and center has a slight jiggle.
  9. Cool the cheesecake gradually in the oven then refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  10. Top with homemade whipped cream and candy eyes before serving.

Notes

For variations, try adding pumpkin puree for a pumpkin spice cheesecake or melting chocolate into the batter for a chocolate swirl.
