Strawberry Cheesecake Dump Cake

A sweet and simple dessert combining fresh strawberries and creamy cheesecake in an easy dump cake.

  • 2 cups fresh strawberries (sliced)
  • 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese (softened)
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • Powdered sugar (for dusting, optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare a 9×13-inch baking dish with butter or non-stick spray.
  3. Slice your fresh strawberries and set aside.
  4. Make the cream cheese mixture by blending cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
  5. Layer the sliced strawberries in the dish, dollop the cream cheese mixture on top.
  6. Add the yellow cake mix evenly over the strawberries and cream cheese.
  7. Pour the melted butter and milk over the cake mix, covering it as much as possible.
  8. Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
  9. Cool slightly for about 10 minutes before serving.

Notes

Serve warm, dusted with powdered sugar or topped with whipped cream. For variations, consider adding nuts, citrus zest, or even a chocolate drizzle.
