Iowa Party Bites

Crispy, cheesy bites inspired by traditional Iowa comfort food, perfect for gatherings and potlucks.

  • 1 package frozen hashbrowns (30 oz)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup cooked and crumbled bacon
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon dried parsley
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 teaspoons Dijon mustard

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Prepare a baking dish by greasing it lightly with cooking spray or oil.
  3. Mix the hashbrowns, cheese, bacon, onion powder, garlic powder, dried parsley, black pepper, and salt in a large bowl.
  4. Incorporate the sour cream, mayonnaise, and Dijon mustard, mixing well.
  5. Spread the mixture evenly in the prepared baking dish, pressing down gently.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until golden and crispy on top.
  7. Cool for 5-10 minutes before cutting into pieces.
  8. Serve warm and enjoy!
