Maple Glazed Meatloaf

A comforting twist on classic meatloaf featuring a sweet maple glaze, perfect for weeknight dinners or special occasions.

  • 1 lb Ground Beef (80/20 blend)
  • 1/2 cup Maple Syrup
  • 1/2 cup Ketchup
  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs (seasoned or panko)
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 small Onion, minced
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare a loaf pan or lined baking sheet by lightly greasing it.
  3. Mix together the ground beef, breadcrumbs, minced onion, garlic powder, eggs, salt, and pepper in a large bowl.
  4. Shape the mixture into a rectangular loaf and place it in the prepared pan.
  5. Start whisking together the maple syrup and ketchup for the glaze.
  6. Glaze the meatloaf generously with the maple mixture.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for about 50-60 minutes, checking halfway for doneness.
  8. Check the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
  9. Let it rest for about 10 minutes before slicing.
  10. Slice and serve warm, drizzled with remaining glaze.
