Easy Apple Dessert

A comforting apple dessert infused with warm spices, perfect for sharing and creating memories.

  • 4 cups fresh apples, peeled and sliced
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prep a 9×13-inch baking dish by greasing it with butter or cooking spray.
  3. Slice your apples into thin wedges and toss with a sprinkle of cinnamon and sugar.
  4. Mix the melted butter and sugar in a large bowl until well combined.
  5. Add the eggs and vanilla extract, and whisk until smooth.
  6. Combine the flour, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon in another bowl.
  7. Combine the wet and dry mixtures gradually, alternating with milk.
  8. Fold in the sliced apples until well coated.
  9. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
  10. Bake for 40-45 minutes until golden and a toothpick comes out clean.
  11. Cool for 10-15 minutes before serving.

Notes

Serve warm with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream for an extra treat.
