  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • Oil for frying
  • Powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions

  1. Prep your peaches by washing and dicing them into bite-sized pieces.
  2. Mix the dry ingredients in a bowl, whisking together flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
  3. Combine the wet ingredients in another bowl, beating the egg and mixing it with milk.
  4. Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and stir gently until just combined.
  5. Fold in the diced peaches gently.
  6. Heat the oil in a deep skillet until it reaches 350°F.
  7. Fry the fritters in batches until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  8. Dust the warm fritters with powdered sugar before serving.
