3-Ingredient Nectarine Jam Without Pectin

A simple and delicious nectar jam made with just three ingredients, capturing the essence of summer in every spoonful.

Ingredients

  • Nectarines (about 2 pounds)
  • Sugar (1 cup)
  • Lemon Juice (2 tablespoons)

Instructions

  1. Wash the nectarines under cool running water. Remove the pits and chop them into small pieces.
  2. Combine the chopped nectarines, sugar, and lemon juice in a heavy-bottomed saucepan. Stir well and bring to a gentle boil.
  3. Reduce the heat to low and let it simmer for about 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. Remove from heat and let cool for 10 minutes. Pour into sterilized jars, leaving a little headspace at the top, and seal tightly.

Notes

For a smoother jam, blend the diced nectarines briefly. Use a heavy-bottomed pan to prevent burning; consider water bath processing for longer storage.
