Cookie Dough Cheesecake

A luscious dessert that combines the silky smoothness of cheesecake with the nostalgic magic of cookie dough.

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups cream cheese, at room temperature
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup chocolate chip cookie dough
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • ¼ cup all-purpose flour
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • Chocolate chips for topping (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (160°C).
  2. Beat the cream cheese using an electric mixer until smooth (about 2-3 minutes).
  3. Add the granulated sugar and vanilla extract, and beat until combined.
  4. Incorporate the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  5. Fold in the sour cream, flour, and salt until just combined.
  6. Add the chocolate chip cookie dough and fold gently until mixed.
  7. Grease a 9-inch springform pan and line the bottom with parchment paper.
  8. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top.
  9. Bake for 50-60 minutes until the center is set but slightly wobbly.
  10. Cool in the oven with the door cracked for about an hour.
  11. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight to set.

Notes

For serving, consider topping with whipped cream, extra chocolate chips, or melted chocolate. You can also experiment with nuts or fruit in the recipe.
