Creamsicle Fudge

A delightful fudge that combines the lively flavors of orange and creamy white chocolate, reminiscent of summer days.

  • 2 1/2 cups sugar
  • 2/3 cup evaporated milk
  • 1/2 cup butter (cubed)
  • 12 oz package white chocolate chips
  • 7 oz jar marshmallow crème
  • 3 teaspoons orange extract
  • 1012 drops orange food coloring

Instructions

  1. Prepare your baking dish by greasing an 8-inch square pan or lining it with parchment paper.
  2. Combine sugar and evaporated milk in a medium saucepan over medium heat, stirring to dissolve sugar.
  3. Add in the cubed butter and stir until melted and combined.
  4. Bring the mixture to a gentle boil while stirring continuously, bubbling for about five minutes.
  5. Incorporate white chocolate chips and marshmallow crème until fully melted and smooth.
  6. Flavor it up with orange extract and food coloring, mixing until evenly distributed.
  7. Pour the mixture into the prepared dish, spreading evenly, and let it cool at room temperature before refrigerating for four hours.
  8. Cut into squares and serve.

Notes

For a more natural approach, consider using fresh orange zest instead of orange extract. Can add nuts or coconut for variations.
