Maple Dijon Salmon

A delightful blend of sweet maple syrup and tangy Dijon mustard creates a flavorful glaze for perfectly baked salmon.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb salmon fillets (fresh or frozen)
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Parchment paper or foil for baking sheet

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Whisk together the maple syrup, Dijon mustard, and minced garlic in a small bowl.
  3. Lay the salmon fillets skin-side down on a lined baking sheet.
  4. Brush the marinade generously over the salmon fillets.
  5. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
  6. Turn on the broiler for the last 2 minutes for a caramelized crust.
  7. Rest the salmon for a couple of minutes before serving.

Notes

For an extra touch, sprinkle fresh herbs or lemon zest on top before serving.
