Passion Fruit Iced Tea

A refreshing and vibrant Passion Fruit Iced Tea perfect for hot summer days.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups water
  • 34 passion fruits, halved
  • 4 tea bags (black or green tea)
  • Sweetener to taste

Instructions

  1. Boil the water by heating it in a saucepan until it reaches a rolling boil.
  2. Steep the tea by adding the tea bags to the boiled water and letting them steep for 5-7 minutes.
  3. Prepare the passion fruit by slicing them in half and scooping out the flesh.
  4. Mix the flavors by adding the passion fruit pulp to the steeped tea and stirring gently.
  5. Sweeten to taste by adding your preferred sweetener and stirring until dissolved.
  6. Chill the tea by transferring it to a pitcher and refrigerating for at least one hour.
  7. Serve the tea over ice and garnish with lemon slices or mint if desired.

Notes

Try adding a splash of fresh lemon juice for extra brightness.
