Peach Cobbler with Raspberries

A nostalgic dessert featuring juicy peaches and tart raspberries, perfect for any gathering.

  • 4 cups peaches, peeled and sliced
  • 1 cup raspberries
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine the sliced peaches and raspberries in a large mixing bowl.
  3. Sprinkle with 1/2 cup of sugar and the vanilla extract; let sit for 10-15 minutes.
  4. Whisk together the flour, remaining sugar, baking powder, and salt in another bowl.
  5. Combine milk and melted butter in a separate measuring cup; then pour into dry ingredients.
  6. Pour the fruit mixture into a greased baking dish and dollop the cobbler batter on top.
  7. Bake for 40-45 minutes, until golden brown and bubbly.
  8. Let it cool for 10 minutes before serving.
  9. Serve warm, optionally with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
