Pumpkin Maple Bacon Dump Cake

A cozy fall dessert combining the flavors of pumpkin, maple syrup, and crispy bacon for a warm and nostalgic treat.

  • 1 can (15 oz) pumpkin puree
  • 1 cup maple syrup
  • 1 package cornbread mix
  • ½ cup unsalted butter
  • 68 slices of candied bacon

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare a 9×13 inch baking dish by greasing it with butter or cooking spray.
  3. Combine pumpkin puree and maple syrup in a mixing bowl until smooth.
  4. Melt the butter and whisk it into the pumpkin-maple mixture.
  5. Prepare candied bacon if not purchased, by baking bacon with brown sugar at 375°F (190°C).
  6. Mix the cornbread according to package instructions.
  7. Layer the pumpkin-maple mixture in the baking dish, followed by the cornbread batter.
  8. Top with crumbled candied bacon.
  9. Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
  10. Let it cool slightly before slicing.

Notes

Serve warm with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream, and drizzle with extra maple syrup.
