  • 1 can (15 oz) pumpkin puree
  • 1 can (20 oz) crushed pineapple, undrained
  • 1 box (15.25 oz) yellow cake mix
  • 1 cup macadamia nuts, chopped
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grab a 9×13-inch baking dish and lightly grease it with cooking spray or butter.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the pumpkin puree and the undrained crushed pineapple. Stir until well mixed.
  4. Sprinkle the yellow cake mix evenly over the pumpkin-pineapple mixture.
  5. Drizzle the melted butter all over the cake mix.
  6. Finally, sprinkle the chopped macadamia nuts over the buttered cake mix.
  7. Slide your masterpiece into the oven and bake for about 50-55 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the filling is bubbly.
  8. Once done, take it out and let it cool for about 15-20 minutes before serving.
