Slow Cooker Salisbury Steak Meatballs

Comforting Salisbury steak flavored meatballs cooked effortlessly in a slow cooker for busy weeknights.

  • 2 cups reduced-sodium beef broth
  • 1 packet brown gravy mix
  • 1 packet onion soup mix
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons cold water
  • Chopped fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Slow Cooker: Grease the bottom of your slow cooker with a bit of cooking spray or olive oil.
  2. Combine the Broth and Soups: Whisk together beef broth, brown gravy mix, and onion soup mix in a bowl and pour into the slow cooker.
  3. Add the Meatballs: Place the frozen meatballs into the slow cooker, ensuring they are coated in the broth.
  4. Mix the Wet Ingredients: Combine ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, and a touch of broth from the slow cooker in a small bowl.
  5. Pour the Sauce: Drizzle the sauce evenly over the meatballs.
  6. Cover and Cook: Set the slow cooker to low for 4-6 hours or high for 2-3 hours.
  7. Thicken Up the Gravy: Mix cornstarch with cold water until smooth, stir into the gravy, and cook for another 30 minutes.
  8. Serve: Scoop out the meatballs, drizzle gravy over the top, and garnish with parsley.
