  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chopped fresh strawberries
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until fluffy.
  3. Add the egg and vanilla, then mix until creamy.
  4. Combine the flour, baking soda, and salt in another bowl, then gradually mix into the wet ingredients.
  5. Fold in the chopped strawberries.
  6. Make the cream cheese filling by mixing cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth.
  7. Shape cookies with dough, adding a teaspoon of filling in the center.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes until golden around the edges.
  9. Cool on a wire rack before enjoying.

Notes
