Delicious Strawberry Pie

A delightful strawberry pie recipe that captures the essence of summer with fresh strawberries and a flaky crust.

  • 2 lbs fresh strawberries
  • 1 deep dish pie crust
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 4 tbsp cornstarch
  • 4 tbsp strawberry Jello powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Prepare the pie crust by rolling it out and fitting it into a deep dish pie pan.
  3. Wash the strawberries and slice them in half.
  4. Cook the filling ingredients in a saucepan until thickened, about 5-7 minutes.
  5. Add the fresh strawberries to the thickened mixture carefully.
  6. Pour the filling into the prepared pie crust.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes until the crust is golden brown.
  8. Cool at room temperature for at least 2 hours before serving.

Notes
