A rich and creamy mocha cheesecake that combines chocolate and coffee flavors for a delightful dessert experience.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 3 (8-ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup strong brewed coffee
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C).
  2. Combine the graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and 1/4 cup sugar in a mixing bowl. Stir until the mixture resembles wet sand.
  3. Press this mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan.
  4. Bake the crust in the preheated oven for about 10 minutes. Let it cool while we prepare the filling!
  5. Beat the softened cream cheese with a hand mixer or stand mixer until creamy and smooth.
  6. Add 1 cup of sugar gradually, mixing until combined, then incorporate the eggs one by one.
  7. Mix in the sour cream, cocoa powder, brewed coffee, and vanilla extract until smooth and velvety.
  8. Pour the filling over the cooled crust and smooth out the top with a spatula.
  9. Bake for about 50-60 minutes, until the edges are set and the center has a slight jiggle.
  10. Turn off the oven and crack the door to let the cheesecake cool gradually.

Notes

For a stunning presentation, dust the top with powdered sugar or cocoa powder, and serve with whipped cream.
