Watermelon Fries

A refreshing twist on snack time with watermelon cut into fun fry-like shapes, served with a creamy yogurt dip.

Ingredients

  • 1 small watermelon
  • 1 cup plain yogurt or Greek yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup strawberries, chopped

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Watermelon: Wash your watermelon, cut off both ends to create a flat surface.
  2. Slice into Fries: Cut the watermelon into thick planks and then into strips resembling fries.
  3. Make the Yogurt Dip: In a bowl, whisk yogurt, honey or maple syrup, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. Chop the Strawberries: Chop strawberries into bite-sized pieces and fold them into the yogurt mixture.
  5. Chill & Serve: Refrigerate watermelon fries and yogurt dip for about 30 minutes before serving.

Notes

For a tropical twist, add chopped pineapple or mango to the yogurt dip. Double the yogurt dip for larger gatherings.
